Schwarz Etienne & Al Majed Jewellery Unveil the Exclusive Roma Synergy Edition by Kari Voutilainen

Perpetuating the spirit of collaboration, Schwarz Etienne and Al Majed Jewellery have conceived this exclusive edition Roma Synergy by Kari Voutilainen, with bright honey and blue hand guilloché dial, which will be sold exclusively at Al Majed prestigious boutiques in Doha.

Measuring 39mm in diameter, the case gleams resplendently courtesy of its highly polished surfaces. This form of polishing accentuates the numerous case contours around the bezel, case band and lugs.

An exhibition case back grants sight of the Manufacture automatic movement, the calibre ASE

200.00. The guilloché decoration found on the dial also extends to the movement. A guilloche motif, again made by Les Ateliers Kari Voutilainen executed on a rose engine lathe, emanates from the balance wheel, spreading outwards.

Exclusivity is a reoccurring theme with this limited-edition model created for the Qatar based retailer. For example, the blue leather strap with colour coordinating honey stitches is unique to this limited-edition model.

Schwarz Etienne has often supplied its products in useful packaging and this limited edition proves no exception. The watch is supplied in a black leather laptop case, providing a means of storing the timepiece and its warranty card.

Schwarz Etienne was established in 1902 and is located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, a city widely regarded as the watchmaking capital of Switzerland. The company is a Manufacture, making its own in-house movements. Moreover, it also makes most of the regulating organ in- house, a rare competence, even in Switzerland.

The Roma Synergy by Kari Voutilainen is a collaboration between the eponymous watchmaker and the Swiss Manufacture, Schwarz Etienne. By working closely together and pooling their resources, Schwarz Etienne and Les Ateliers Kari Voutilainen have produced an exceptional watch; the Roma Synergy by Kari Voutilainen.

Les Ateliers Kari Voutilainen practise rare crafts which are the preserve of just a few firms. Furthermore, they have been responsible for the dial creation and movement finishing. The dial of the Schwarz Etienne ROMA SYNERGY by Kari Voutilainen is made using a rose engine lathe, manually operated, conferring superior definition.
