The new Nikon Z f is a mirrorless camera that balances a heritage design with superior performance.

The Japanese camera maker is globally well known for its reliable and high-performance devices. With the Z f, Nikon impresses us once again. Featuring a full-frame sensor and the same EXPEED 7 image-processing engine as the mirrorless flagship Nikon Z 9, it enables advanced still-image shooting and video recording.

To meet creators’ individual forms and styles of expression, the Z f offers cutting-edge technologies including an exceptional Autofocus and Vibration Reduction performance.

In addition to its notable operability, the camera has a sophisticated design with an elegant glossy finish, and the dials, shutter-release button and power switch are made of brass for a high-quality feel. Artificial leather with a refined look and texture adds a vintage touch, and the camera also features the Nikon logo used in the 1970s to ’80s, as well as carved letters and numbers on the top of the camera.

Looking to achieve those unique tone characteristics? Along with the conventional (Monochrome) Picture Control, the Z f is also equipped with Flat Monochrome and Deep Tone Monochrome Picture Controls.

A dedicated black-and-white (B&W) position has also been added to the photo/video selector, which enables immediate switching to B&W photo mode by simply rotating the selector, expanding users’ possibilities for expression.

Other inspiring functions and features include Creative Picture Controls, which enables more creative imaging, as well as Z f pixelshift shooting, which supports the creation of high-resolution photos by merging multiple NEF (RAW) files, a first for Nikon. ✤
