Samsung has launched the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 that boasts the new Flex Hinge offering an enhanced foldable smartphone experience.

Part of Samsung’s fifth generation of foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a sleek and compact design, that comes with numerous customisation options with powerful performance capabilities.

The most notable external improvement is the Flex Hinge that allows the phone to fold completely flat, compared to previous models that left a slight gap even when fully folded. It has been tested and verified to withstand 200,000 folds over five years of daily use.

The device sports a 7.6-inch main screen with 2,176 x 1,812 resolution to provide a superior experience when viewing media, gaming and carrying out productivity tasks. The phone’s external screen has a resolution of 2,316 x 906 and both have an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz for better battery life.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is available in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB storage options and runs using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM and the phone is powered by a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired charging capabilities.

The device comes with the IPX8 rating for water resistance and uses the latest Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both, the front and inner screens. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 features a 10MP selfie camera, the main screen has a 4MP under-display camera, while on the rear it is equipped with a 50MP wide angle camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera and 10MP telephoto camera.

The device is available in Icy Blue, Phantom Black and Cream. Additionally, users can also purchase the newly-trimmeddown S Pen Fold Edition to enjoy smooth note taking and perform air commands. ✤
