ASTOUNDING SOUND

Yamaha has expanded its lineup of immersive Dolby Atmos Sound Bars with the new SR-B30A.

The new SR-B30A, which features a built-in subwoofer is a step up from Yamaha’s previous compact sound bar model.

It features four 46mm, full-range cones and two 250mm tweeters, producing frequencies ranging from 210Hz to 22Hz, and includes a built-in 750mm subwoofer which goes as low as 54Hz.

The sound bar has been designed to appeal to a wide range of consumers and offer a variety of different uses. Designed from the ground up with sound performance at centre stage, the new model reproduces sound with exceptional clarity, detail and spatial realism.

The B30A is an all-in-one sound bar that uses two built-in subwoofers and a bass-reflex design to provide full-range sound from a single body – a great solution for smaller living rooms, bedrooms and dens. The sound of the device can be customised to a listener’s content or personal taste with a variety of controls and settings, including four sound mode options, an independent subwoofer volume control and tone controls in the app for fine-tuning the EQ.

Moreover, Yamaha Clear Voice enhances dialogue clarity, while the Bass Extension feature adds a more muscular presentation of low-end frequencies.

Setup for the model is an easy single-cable HDMI connection between a TV and the bar via eARC/ARC. HDMI CEC allows users to control basic functions on a TV remote such as power on/ off, volume and mute.

The remote, included with the purchase of the sound bar, gives individuals full control over settings, and an app is available for iOS and Android that turns any smartphone or tablet into a remote, making it perfect for multiple users.✤
