Members of the community can look forward to a range of culturally enriching programmes designed to promote creativity and take art beyond four walls.

Museum of Islamic Art (MIA)

Square Kufic workshop
WHEN: December 22 and December 29
TIME: 4pm to 6pm
The name of Square Kufic came from using black squares as a unit for measuring letters. Learn about the different designs of square kufic, including square, rectangle, circle, star, swirl etc. For more information, please email miaprograms@qm.org.qa

Monoprint for Adults Workshop

Planet Kids Online
WHEN: December 28
TIME: 3pm to 4.30pm
Join MIA for ‘PLANET KIDS CLUB’ an online monthly story time, discussion and activity relating the museum to protecting our planet. Listen to a story related to the monthly theme, participate in a fun craft and learn more about museum objects. MIA will also share some top tips on how to save our planet.
