About Summer in Qatar (SiQ)
SiQ forms part of QNTC’s strategy to enrich and diversify the country’s tourism offering, particularly in the area of family and urban entertainment. This year marks greater collaboration among QNTC’s partners in the public and private sectors, who have taken the initiative to create more tourism offerings. SiQ is part of QNTC’s focus on developing sustainable, year-round tourism, boosting a traditionally slower season in Qatar.

OFFERS & DISCOUNTS

Qatar Airways Deals: 25% discount on flights to Doha between 30 May-15 August along with 25% discount on Al Maha Airport Meet and Assist / Lounge Services.

Eid Celebrations:

Entertainment City at DECC
The SiQ centerpiece and family favourite returns this year. Occupying 29,000 m2 of indoor space at the DECC, it features exciting rides, skill games, video games, live entertainment shows, food court & pop-up shops from 1st day of Eid – 13 July.

Mall Entertainment – free for all visitors
There will be special entertainment shows and roaming activities taking place across all the partner malls including Balloon Stilt Walker, Meet & Greet with characters from movies premiering this summer: Toy Story 4, Spider Man- Far From Home and Angry Birds 2 as well as Captain Marvel and Hulk, Tom & Jerry, Titan the Robot, Ant Man and Black Panther and Ugly Dolls. Celebrate Eid with the stars and dine with Ziad Bourji and Adam on 6 June at La Cigale Hotel.
Enjoy performances by Bollywood celebrities at the Bollywood Music Festival on 21-22 June at Lusail Indoor Arena.
EDM artist and DJ-producer Marshmello will perform for the first time in Qatar on 25 July at QNCC.
World renowned comedians are set to perform again this year at the ever-popular Doha Comedy Festival on 12 July at QNCC.
Arabic Music sensation Kadim al Sahir returns to Qatar for a memorable performance on 16 and 17 August at QNCC.
Star studded South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA)2019 is expected to be attended by mega stars from the industry including Bollywood power couple and heart throbs on 15-16 August in Lusail Indoor Arena.

SUMMER CAMPS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Season-long summer camps, classes and fun activities for different age groups will keep kids and youth active through sports, art and science classes.

• Summer camp conducted by QNTC, MoI (Sports Police Federation) and Qatar Foundation will take place at Education City from 30 June – 25 July. Free of charge for a total of 500 children.
• Paris Saint-Germain Academy Summer Camps at West Bay, AlWaab & Al Wakra throughout summer from 4 June – 16 August.
• Police Summer Training by Police College from 29 June – 8 August
• Youth Centre and Cultural Activities activities by MOCS at various malls throughout summer.
• Aspire Summer Camp for kids from 7-31 July
