Experience an exceptional culinary evening with French Michelin-star chef Nicolas Isnard at L’Artisan. The night unfolds a fusion of French flavours and avant-garde techniques, inviting you to indulge in an unforgettable culinary masterpiece. Explore your options with the three-course business lunch, the four-course dinner, or the five-course Romance set menu — each promising a delightful journey.

Nicolas Isnard, originally from the beautiful south of France, draws inspiration from the Mediterranean flavours passed down by his Italian grandmother. After honing his skills in various kitchens around the globe, he took on the role of Chef de Partie at the one-star Michelin restaurant Le Prieure and later became the second chef at another one-star Michelin gem, Le Vieux Logis. His culinary journey continued at the two-star Michelin restaurant La Rotonde in Lyon, where he began experimenting with his own unique styles.

Soon he was working with Three Michelin Star Chef Gilles Goujon at the Auberge du Vieux Puits and by 27 was chef at Château de Curzay, where he received his own Michelin Star. During this time Nicolas fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant, Auberge de la Charme á Prenois. Specializing in French cuisine prepared with modern techniques, he received one Michelin star within a year’s time.

According to Chef Nicolas Isnard, “Cooking to me is a lifelong passion.” He describes his cooking as “Happy and flavoursome,” and the guideline he follows in the kitchen to achieve the works of culinary art which have brought him fame is very simple: “You have to love your food. Be patient, curious, open-minded and adventurous — these are all the essential traits in becoming a successful chef.”

Guests are invited to indulge in dishes such as Stuffed Squid ‘Bourguignon style’, Seared Duck Foie Gras, Signature Chef Isnard’s ‘Onion Soup’ and other delicacies.

From February 14 to 16, choose from a range of dining options at L’Artisan. Enjoy a three-course Business Lunch from 12pm to 4pm for QR140, a four-course dinner from 7pm to 11pm for QR350, a five-course Romance Dinner for QR450 and a Friday Brunch from 12pm to 4pm for QR330.
