Mandarin Oriental, Doha celebrates Qatar National Day and hosts Our Values Inspire Art exhibition by students of qatar academy msheireb

Mandarin Oriental, Doha celebrates Qatar National Day with the debut of Qatar Academy Msheireb student artworks reflecting ‘Our Values Inspire Art’.  Continuing the celebrations, a limited-edition cake packaged in a bespoke design by The Creative Union will feature Qatar Academy Msheireb students’ artistic interpretations of Qatari traditions and culture.

Hosted at the hotel’s Mandarin Lounge, the exhibition ‘Our Values Inspire Art’ will feature a series of artworks symbolically reflecting social and moral values of the Holy Quran. The student artworks reflect artistic interpretations of social values such as family, friendship, equality, unity, peace  and moral values of honesty, mercy, modesty, responsibility and respect for others.

Qatar National Day, also known as Founder’s Day, is celebrated on 18 December to commemorate the country’s unification in 1878. The celebration of Qatar will be honoured in December with a limited-edition cake crafted by the hotel’s talented pastry team. Qatar Academy student art will be artistically  presented on the packaging, created in partnership with designers from The Creative Union. ‘Our Values Inspire Art’ exhibition is open to public viewing in December.
