Doha: The Pilot Special Edition (SE) brings together uncompromising design and convenient new features. Equipped with standard 9-speed transmission with paddle shifters, standard tri-zone climate control the Pilot SE builds on the popular EX-L trim with additional features that until now were exclusive to top trims.

Other than the standard 8 seats the Pilot SE has some exclusive glossy features that add aggressive style to the vehicle’s exterior, these include a Black grille, Black Front & Rear lower bumper garnish, Black Front & Rear bumper corner garnish, 20” Black Alloy Wheels, Black Roof Rail and a Special Edition Badge.

The interiors come with leather seats with the driver’s seat having an 8-way power adjustment + power lumber support with 2 position memory and the front passenger seat has a 4-way power adjustment. The second-row seats are 60:40 and third row has folding seats. 

For additional comfort and convenience, the Pilot Special Edition also comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ABC), Cruise Control, integrated rear sunshades, Capless Fuel Filter, leather wrapped steering wheel, Conversation mirror and an automatic-dimming rear-view mirror.

The Pilot SE also has one-touch power sunroof with anti-pinch, front windshield acoustic glass, side mirrors with reverse gear tilt-down, running boards and a hands free access power tailgate which allows you to load and unload cargo with the remote key fob in their pocket or handbag. The driver simply has to kick their foot under a designated area of the rear bumper. The tailgate then opens without the owner needing to use their hands.

The Pilot Special Edition also comes with standard safety features like Vehicle Stability Assist, Anti-Locking Braking System (ABS), Electronics Brake Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist, hill Start Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Multi-Angle Rear-view Camera with Guidelines, Front Airbags (SRS), Front Side Airbags, Side Curtain Airbags, 3-Point Seat Belts at all seating positions and an ACE™ Body Structure.

3.5 LITRE i-VTEC V6 ENGINE      

Powering the Pilot is a 3.5 litre direct injected i-VTEC® 24-valve SOHC V6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management™(VCM™). This engine is mated 9-speed automatic transmission (9AT) producing 280hp @ 6000rpm and a torque of 355Nm @ 4700rpm.

LANE WATCH™

Through a built-in camera on the passenger-side mirror, this system assists drivers when changing lanes by providing a view of any vehicles located in the passenger-side blind spot.

DRIVER INFORMATION INTERFACE        

A colour screen directly in front of the driver displays essential gauges and instruments, as well as information about what’s playing and who’s calling.

ENGINE START/ STOP BUTTON 

You can leave the Smart Entry remote in your pocket or bag – Pilot lets you start and stop the engine with Push Button ease.

REMOTE ENGINE START

The Pilot is fully updated with cutting-edge technology such as 8-inch touch-screen display audio with advanced navigation system, USB interface and wireless mobile charger. The audio output is via 6 speakers with a subwoofer. Bluetooth, MP3, Auxiliary Input Jack, HDMI Interface and a CD player are some of the features of the audio system. It also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.             

TRI-ZONE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM

The all new Pilot has the Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control System and rear AC ducts which keeps the passengers comfortable with temperatures that can be controlled independently suiting each need.
