FULLY BOOKED

HORROR FICTION

Holly
By Stephen King

A new offering from the master storyteller is always a treat to be anticipated and we can’t wait to get our hands on this one which sees Holly Gibney, who’s first appearance in Mr Mercedes stole the author’s heart, back in fine form.

Taking on a case she should really leave well alone, Holly utilises her considerable private detective skills in a bid to find missing Bonnie Dahl, who disappeared close to the home of two elderly professors with a very dark secret in their basement.

SCIENCE FICTION COMEDY

Starter Villain
By John Scalzi

We love this as much for the cover as for the utterly bonkers premise – divorced substitute teacher Charlie living quietly with his cat until his long-lost uncle Jake dies and bequeaths him his supervillain business!

Now Jake’s sworn enemies are coming after Charlie and it seems going bad is the way to go. Welcome to a world of unionised dolphins, hyper-intelligent talking spy cats and some proper, modern-day soulless villains. Sounds like a complete romp and we’re looking forward to learning more.
