To ensure the big race weekend goes with a bang (rather than a crash) there are some great events lined up at the circuit and beyond, read on for info on who’ll be on stage.

With tickets selling fast, a host of regional and international superstars will headline the weekend’s entertainment in the venue’s concert area which will be accessible to all ticket holders.

Friday October 6
Record breaking Egyptian artist Amr Diab will dazzle audiences with a medley of his best-loved hits. A globally acclaimed recording artist and author, he is a Guinness World Record holder, for the most World Music Awards for best-selling Middle Eastern artist, and he holds five platinum records. Known as the ‘father of Mediterranean music’ he’s been releasing popular anthems for more than 40 years and his performance is bound to be a treat for fans young and old.

Saturday October 7
Superstar DJ Alesso is heading to Qatar for the second day of race weekend. Consistently ranked on DJ Magazine’s list of Top 100 DJs in the world and a festival regular with appearances at the likes of Tomorrowland and Coachella under his belt, he’s known for floor-filling bangers such as Calling (Lose My Mind), Forever and If I Lose Myself. Make sure you put on your dancing shoes if you’re heading to this one!

Sunday October 8
It doesn’t get much bigger than the weekend’s closing headline act – Bruno Mars. Yep, the Uptown Funk hitmaker will be bringing his best for the after-race party on Sunday night and we’re hoping for plenty of tunes from his sublime An Evening With Silk Sonic LP as well as lots of other favourites. And, there’s a special treat in store, Qatar’s own favourite adopted son, Faraway Martin, is back in town and performing on the Sunday night too.

Off-Circuit
Taking pole position in Qatar’s lively social scene, B-Lounge Doha will host an entertainment-packed opening party for the race weekend. As the official hotel partner of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, The Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts bring exclusive access and memorable experiences. Kicking off on Friday, October 6 at 11pm, the B-Lounge event will include a showstopping welcome, with hostesses greeting guests at the restaurant’s entrance, where a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team replica car will be on display. Bringing high energy socialising to speed enthusiasts, the night’s entertainment will include a live DJ and musicians, against the backdrop of the stylish, Marina-side set-up. Tickets start from QR200 for the soft drinks option up to QR495 including premium beverages, with a range of Eastern flavours being served. And lots of F1- themed drinks will also be available.

October 7 sees the Off-White F1 Carbone Beach pop-up, at Al Maha Island, consisting of an evening of great entertainment, musical performances, a four-course dinner and auction, conducted by Phillips, with prizes including a VIP Paris Fashion Week experience, including front row tickets to the Off-White show, and F1 driver Pierre Gasly’s worn and signed helmet. Proceeds from the auction as well as sales of boxes and tables will go to Education Above All. The event kicks off at 9pm and tables are priced from QR11,000.
