Apple has unveiled the new 15‑inch MacBook Air with an enhanced, top-of-the-line display and the powerful M2 silicon chip.

The company introduced the 15-inch MacBook Air that comes with an expansive 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with IPS technology; 2880×1864 native resolution at 224 pixels per inch.

With up to 500 nits of brightness and support for 1 billion colours, content looks notably rich and vibrant, and the text razor sharp. The device is only 11.5mm thick and is the world’s thinnest 15- inch laptop. Moreover, it weighs just 1.49kg making it incredibly portable.

The laptop features MagSafe charging, two Thunderbolt ports for connecting accessories and up to a 6K external display, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack for versatile connectivity.

With the M2 chip, the MacBook Air has incredible performance and is up to twice as fast compared to previous models. It also delivers extraordinary battery life of up to 18 hours. It includes a powerful eight-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU for blazing-fast graphics and a 16- core Neural Engine.

The MacBook features a 1080p HD camera for FaceTime calls and video conferencing. While a three-mic array captures clean audio using advanced beamforming algorithms.

The new Air also includes a six-speaker sound system with two tweeters and two sets of force-cancelling woofers.
