MG Qatar Cars presents the first ever all-electric SUV, the MG ZS EV, in Qatar.

A stylish, compact SUV, the MG ZS EV is based on the popular Middle East seller, the MG ZS, and is the first all-electric car from the British-born brand, presenting the ideal opportunity for environmentally aware buyers to take their place among the region’s motoring trailblazers.

The all-electric MG ZS EV is available now at Auto Class Cars Showroom, the authorised distributor of MG in Qatar, on Salwa Road.

The new model is a highly versatile vehicle, capable of travelling for 335km NEDC on a single battery charge and is equipped with fast charging which allows up to 80% of the battery to be recharged in just 40 minutes. Power is delivered by a single electric motor that drives the front wheels and delivers 148bhp and 350Nm of torque – giving acceleration of 0-100km/h in just 8.2 seconds. The ternary lithium battery carries a warranty for eight years/150,000km.

The MG ZS EV is distinguished by its luxurious, comfortable and spacious interior with leather steering wheel with a D-shaped flat bottom in addition to soft touch, dash console material and premium finish and an advanced infotainment system with eightinch touch screen. It is equipped with 360° turbo air vents that help air flows, and and a push start engine button.

Providing peace of mind in terms of safety, the five-star Euro NCAP-rated model is equipped as standard with ABS, EBD, EBA, hill assistance, auto hold, a tyre pressure monitoring system and six airbags as well as parking sensors, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assistance. The range-topping LUX model adds further neat touches such as a rear camera with dynamic guidance lines, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable driver’s seat and 17-inch, two-tone alloy wheels. ✤
