Panel Discussion: Qatari Youths’ Response To Environmental Issues
This panel discussion, scheduled for December 2 from 4pm to 5pm, is presented as part of the library’s celebration of Qatar National Day. The participants will look at Qatari youth initiatives in the area of environmental sustainability, one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Conserving Qatar’s beaches is a social responsibility. On the occasion of Qatar National Day, QNL invites families to participate in this initiative to save and protect Qatar’s marine environment. The event is organised in collaboration with the Doha Environmental Actions Project together with the support of SDGeneration, Greener Future and THIMUN Qatar. Qatar National Day Wikithon
Wikithon is an event in which people come together to learn how to edit, improve and enrich the contents of Wikipedia. This year, the Library’s Qatar National Day Wikithon will focus on editing and enriching Arabic and English pages on Qatari-themed topics, including history, nature and more. QNL invites all enthusiasts to join this third edition of the Wikithon at the library on December 5, from 5pm to 8pm.

Exhibition by Haifa Al-Khuzai
Sheraton Grand Doha will be hosting a special art exhibition by Qatari artist Haifa Al-Khuzai, in collaboration with Katara Art Center, in the hotel lobby from December 7 to December 30. The exhibition features a collection of new artworks using mixed mediums of ceramics and porcelain inspired by motifs and patterns of local fashion. It attempts to integrate heritage elements into the artworks in a modern style. ✤
