One of Qatar’s best-known faces is joining forces with the country’s favourite magazine as host of the Fact Dining Awards Qatar 2023.

TV and sports presenter, commentator, actor and voice specialist Abood – yes, you’ve seen him everywhere from presenting on Al Jazeera to commentating on the FIFA Legends Cup and the Formula 1 Ooredoo Qatar Grand Prix as well as performing TV host duties at the Ooredoo Arena – will be taking on the role of MC for our glitzy ceremony, which is happening at Lucia’s, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel on Wednesday evening.

Abood is perhaps best known for appearing as himself in the popular Al Jazeera Arabic series About Cinema which celebrates the art of filmmaking and the craftspeople both in front of and behind the cameras.
