Guests at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha, rocked along as ‘Pure Queen’, the UK’s leading Queen and Freddie Mercury tribute band, played the iconic British band’s most famous numbers.

More than 500 guests packed into the hotel’s Giwana Ballroom for the sold-out concert with Pure Queen belting out the original rock band’s most-loved hits one by one.

Freddie Mercury-inspired attire was the fashion choice of the night as guests sampled delicious drinks as well as a sumptuous buffet, all whilst swaying to the nostalgic music.

The tribute band, led by Mark Sanders as ‘Freddie Mercury’; Richard Ashford as ‘Brian May’; Jon Caulton as ‘John Deacon’, and Tristan Snowden Poole as ‘Roger Taylor’ were on top of their game with the audience enthusiastically joining in and singing along with them.

Classics like Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, Radio Gaga and Crazy Little Thing Called Love had the audience on their feet, singing, clapping and stomping along to every lyric and every beat.

The band’s attention to detail showed in their musical performance, costumes and stage personas with the venue seemingly being transformed into a time machine, transporting guests to a bygone musical era of the 1970s.

As the final rhythm of Don’t Stop Me Now echoed loudly through the ballroom, the audience reacted joyfully as they applauded the professionalism of the musicians, the high-quality sound and visual production.
