Some Splendid Treats With A Cuppa

IDAM by Alain Ducasse, the fine-dining restaurant at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), is launching a Weekend Sunset Tea offer, much to the delight of foodies across Doha.

Starting on November 15 and available on Fridays and Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm until the end of February 2025, the Weekend Sunset Tea experience will enable guests to enjoy a selection of artisanal pastries paired with fine teas and aromatic infusions and Doha’s spectacular skyline as a stunning backdrop, making it the perfect way to spend a leisurely weekend afternoon. Prices start from QR160.

Located on the top floor of the museum, the restaurant, which opened in 2013, was world-famous French chef Alain Ducasse’s first foray into the Middle East.

With the launch of the Weekend Sunset Tea experience, IDAM continues to raise the bar in hospitality and culinary innovation in Qatar. Guests can expect an unforgettable journey reflecting Alain Ducasse’s level of precision, quality and creativity.

That’s not all, by the way. IDAM has another treat in store for its patrons: a two-night cultural evening event at the restaurant which includes a guided tour of the Museum of Islamic Art’s exhibition: Splendours of the Atlas: A Voyage Through Morocco’s Heritage, led by the exhibition’s curator Dr. Mounia Chekhab Abudaya.

The tour, which will take place on November 27-28 at 6.30pm on each evening, will be followed by a Moroccan-inspired dinner at the restaurant where guests will be able to savour dishes crafted from ingredients and spices drawn from authentic Moroccan recipe books available at the MIA Library.
