A colourful and extraordinary spectacle that unites all ages, the Qatar Kite Festival is a mesmerising display of creativity and culture. For three days, Doha’s skies will be dotted with artistic and cute creations that will soar high.

Apart from watching the multi-hued kites in various shapes and sizes drift in the sky, you can take part in captivating workshops to make your own kites, decorate them and learn how to handle and fly them.

The public kite-flying sessions are held during the day and night. Besides kite-flying, the event has several fun activities and entertaining programmes such as roaming shows, parades, live musical performances and stage shows.

The event runs from January 19 to 25, from 4pm to 10pm, at the Old Doha Port with free entry. ✤
