Kingdom Konsult (KK), a Doha-based consultancy, in partnership with Compocity, a Hungary-based startup, has launched a revolutionary new tool that will recycle office food waste in an eco-friendly manner.

In a commitment to address climate change, minimise carbon footprints and combat the adverse impacts of waste on the environment, Kingdom Konsult and Compocity have formed an exclusive partnership.

An agreement was formalised in the presence of Catina Aghayan, CEO and founder of Kingdom Konsult, and Compocity CEO Dr Emese Pansca.

As a result of the partnership, KK presents for the first time and exclusively in Qatar, the Middle East and Greece, the revolutionary green invention: CompoBot – a state-of-the-art indoor composting robot that recycles office food waste into compost for soil.

“At KK, we have a solid agenda of offering trendy office solutions throughout the year on sustainability and environment awareness,” Catina explained.

Kingdom Konsult’s launch of its pioneering recycling solution is aimed at advancing carbon reduction and enhancing environmental consciousness across Qatar and the broader region.

This groundbreaking initiative introduces state-of-the-art green technologies, marking a significant milestone in sustainability and circular economy practices.

KK and Compocity are building on the experience gained from robots already in operation and preparing for series production, which could start at the end of the year.

KK plans to deploy around 100 devices by the end of the year and, with plans for regional expansion in the GCC/Middle East and Greece, expects to deploy around 500 devices by 2025/26, which could prevent the release of up to the equivalent of 4.8 million kgs of CO2 greenhouse gas emissions from air travel.
