Students have been invited to apply for a scholarship marking the accomplishments of Ali Alfardan, one of the country’s most prominent businessmen.
The Hamilton International School has opened the 2022/2023 applications for the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education.
The scholarship, now in its second year, covers a full year’s tuition fees at the school and will be awarded to one student who has a proven track record of academic excellence and a commitment to their wider studies. All students in Doha, from Grade 6 to Grade 8, can apply with the closing date for applications being May 31, 2022.
“We want to encourage students who excel academically, plus demonstrate a commitment to their community through community service and environmental initiatives, to apply for the Ali Alfardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education,” said Terry Senior, Principal of The Hamilton International School.”
As the Vice-Chairman of the family-owned Alfardan Group, Ali Alfardan has been instrumental in driving the group’s unmatched growth and progress. In addition to the Ali Alfardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education, the school will again offer the prestigious Hamilton Principal’s Award. This award, now in its third year, recognises a current Hamilton student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, and provides them with a scholarship of 50% of their tuition fees.
