Artistically-inclined teenagers in Doha will get a treat on July 20: they’ll get the chance to take part in a watercolour painting workshop at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA).

The workshop will be conducted by respected Jordanian artist Noor Qussini who will teach the young aspiring artists how to paint with watercolours through wet and dry painting techniques.

They will also learn that, while watercolour painting is considered hard to master, if they use the correct techniques, they will be able to create beautiful artworks.

The workshop will run from 12pm to 2.30pm. Entry is free but those interested in attending will have to register well in advance since registration closes four days before a scheduled event for all MIA art workshops.
