TAKE A BOW!

More than 150 global and regional talents from the world of fashion were showcased at Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway, the “world’s biggest fashion show”.

Jointly presented by Qatar Creates, a platform by Qatar Museums to amplify the country’s creative industries, and CR Runway, a global fashion experience uniting the industry’s most celebrated designers and models from around the world, upwards of 20,000 spectators gathered at Ras Abu Aboud 974 Stadium to witness the mammoth event. Works by renowned names in the world of fashion graced the runway. A celebration of fashion, music and culture, Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway also had performances by regional and international music superstars.

A concept by Her Excellency Shaikha Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, Qatar Museums Chairperson, the fashion event was curated by French fashion editor and visionary stylist Carine Roitfeld, and directed by CR Runway President and CEO, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld. Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway presented a dazzling array of looks by more than 150 designers from six continents and 50 countries, including both established and up-andcoming designers. Twenty-one Qatar-based brands presented by M7 participated: Yasmin Mansour by Yasmin Mansour, TRZI by Amna Al Misned, Kaltham’s Pavilion by Kaltham Al Majid and Drizzle by Al Anoud Al Hedfa to name just a few. M7 is Qatar’s epicentre for innovation and entrepreneurship in fashion, design and technology. Established by Qatar Museums, it’s committed to accelerating the growth of Qatar’s creative economy by providing mentorship and opportunities for designers.

All proceeds from the show will benefit Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that provides educational opportunities to underserved children and youth and empowers women to become active members of their communities. ✤
