Calling all kitty fans, get ready to celebrate International Cat Day with the return of the Biggest Cat Show – a chance to show of your majestic moggies and fashionista felines with the possibility to win big prizes.

Taking place at Rawabi Hypermarket Izghawa, from 3pm to 5pm, on August 8, the show will have two categories – Funniest Cat and Fashionista Cat. So, if your pampered pet makes you laugh on the daily or insists on the latest styles, hot off the catwalk, this could be their chance for fame.

But hurry, entry closes on August 1, and you’ll need to take a video of your talented feline (10 to 20 seconds) upload it to Instagram and tag @rawabihypermarekt_qa with the hashtag #rawabibiggestcatshow

Prizes are QR1,000 for first place, QR750 for second place and QR500 for third place.

No cat? No problem. You can just go along and join in the fun. Watch the fancy felines strut their stuff and maybe get your face painted a la pussy cat.
