Exhibitions The Big 5 and INDEX are set to return to Qatar in 2023, due to new partnership between NeXTfairs and dmg.

Leading international exhibitions company dmg events has signed a strategic partnership deal with local NeXTfairs to run The Big 5 Construct Qatar and INDEX Design Qatar in the third quarter of 2023.

Scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27 of 2023, this represents the latest move in dmg events’ regional portfolio expansion strategy.

The co-located trade shows will connect essential suppliers with trade buyers committed to Qatar’s development of infrastructure and offer companies a leadership platform and face-to-face business and networking opportunities.

In its 2021 Qatar Construction Market – Growth, Trends, Covid-19 Impact & Forecast (2022-2027) report, Mordor Intelligence valued the market at $55 million in 2021, with a forecast value of US$76 billion by 2027, registering a CAGR of 10.54% over the period. A total of US$16.4 billion will be invested into infrastructure and real estate projects by 2025 under Qatar National Vision 2030. In addition, the pending ratification of a new law regulating public-private partnerships is set to further accelerate the sector’s opportunities.
