We caught up with the General Manager of Home Boutique Qatar and Molteni Home, to talk about his brands’ major selling points, coming trends and what he’d like to have in his own home.

You have been involved in various sectors across your professional career. What would you say has best prepared you for your role as GM in the homes retail industry?
My diverse experience across the hospitality, entertainment, medical aesthetics and beauty sectors has provided me with a multifaceted understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. Each role accumulated my skills in business development, strategic management and operational excellence, which are crucial in the competitive home retail industry. My background has taught me the importance of innovation, customer experience and adapting to market trends, all of which are essential in my current role.

What have you identified as the latest homes trends to look out for as we move into the second half of 2024?
In the second half of 2024, nature-inspired design and wellness-oriented interiors are becoming prominent trends. Natureinspired design includes elements like plants, natural light and organic materials to create a connection with the outdoors indoors. Wellness-oriented interiors focus on creating spaces that promote relaxation, mental well-being and overall health, incorporating features like air purification, ergonomic furniture and calming colour palettes.

What style do you most embrace in your own home and if you could have one designer piece, regardless of cost, what would it be?
I personally embrace a modern minimalist style that combines clean lines, neutral tones and functional elegance. If I could have one designer piece, it would be a classic Eames Lounge Chair.
