High-Performance Convertible

McLaren have launched the stunning new Artura Spider in the Middle East.

McLaren Automotive recently unveiled their first-ever highper-formance hybrid convertible – the all-new Artura Spider – in the Middle East.

The glamorous launch event took place in Dubai and Tobias Suehlmann, Chief Design Officer at McLaren Automotive and Jamie Corstorphine, Director of Product Planning, were present at the gala, along with 130 guests.

Held in partnership with Pirelli Middle East, the event showcased the latest addition to the McLaren supercar family to an exclusive group of VIP guests, McLaren owners and media personalities. Boasting significant upgrades to power, performance and driver engagement, the new Spider now also adds the sensory pleasures of open-top driving to the remarkable Artura.

Easily the lightest amongst its convertible competition, the Artura Spider also enjoys a weight advantage of up to 83kg. Its power-to-weight ratio has been further enhanced by a recalibrated high-performance hybrid powertrain, which is now able to release an overall power of 700PS (690bhp), enabling thrilling levels of performance.

The model’s dynamic precision is additionally enhanced by Pirelli Cyber Tyre technology, comprising hardware and software integrated with the Artura’s electronic systems featuring an electronic sensor inside each tyre. The technology helps generate real-time data that allows drivers to fully exploit the potential of the fitted tyres. It also uses Pirelli’s Noise Cancelling System (PNCS) inside the tyre wall to reduce vibration and noise.

Additionally, the MY25 Artura Coupe was also showcased at the event. ✤
