Jiwan, the National Museum of Qatar favourite, has launched a new private dining experience designed for smaller, more intimate gatherings.

We never really need an excuse to visit the National Museum of Qatar. Between the architecture, the exhibitions and the excuse to stop at Jiwan afterwards for one of Doha’s best lunch views, it’s already one of the city’s easiest lifestyle recommendations.

But for anyone who loves Jiwan’s food and wants something a little more personal, the restaurant has now launched a new private dining concept called Jiwan at Home. The idea is simple: instead of going to the restaurant, the restaurant comes to you.

Created for gatherings of up to 10 guests, the experience brings Jiwan’s culinary team directly into private homes for customised lunches, dinners or canapé-style receptions. According to the restaurant, everything is tailored around the host’s preferences, from the menu itself to the table presentation and overall atmosphere. On the day, dishes are prepared on-site by the Jiwan team, while dedicated staff handle the service throughout the event.

The goal is clearly to recreate the restaurant’s warm, hospitality-focussed experience in a smaller and more private setting. Located on the fourth floor of the National Museum of Qatar, Jiwan has built a strong following in Doha for its contemporary take on regional cuisine and its focus on Middle Eastern flavours and sharing-style dining. The restaurant also received Bib Gourmand distinction, adding to its reputation as one of the city’s standout dining spots.
