Enjoy a Festive Escape at The Dolder Grand, Switzerland

Join The Dolder Grand for their 125th anniversary year as it winds down with a festive close. The five metre Christmas tree will make its return and the grand staircase has been dressed to perfection. In the lobby, a massive advent calendar greets guests as they make their way through the venue.

Since 1899, The Dolder Grand has been a renowned landmark in Zurich, providing guests with a surreal winter holiday destination. Rich in both heritage and innovation, the venue fuses sophisticated modernism with its historical atmosphere to turn the resort into a stunning otherworldly venue.

In celebration of the festive season, The Dolder Grand launched the “Festive Me Up!” package, allowing guests to customise their stay to their liking. Between December 22 to December 28, guests who stay longer than two nights will be treated to a breakfast, given restaurant or spa credit as well as a complimentary car to use for the duration of their stay.

Overseeing a range of culinary performances, Culinary Director and Chef Fine Dining Heiko Neider’s unique vision will guide the direction of the culinary offerings with his twist on classic dishes. A festive favourite, his and Maître Fromager Rolf Beeler’s DAS Fondue served with Krug Grande Cuvée in the Alpine ‘Krug Chalet’ is a favourite among the guests.

The Christmas brunches will be held on December 25 and December 26, and guests present for New Year’s Eve can enjoy a number of packages like an exclusive 8 course menu at the Michelin star eatery ‘The Restaurant.’ The Restaurant is an upbeat location with excellent ambience, cuisine and live music. At ‘Saltz,’ visitors can participate in the themed nights, and can indulge in a night of art deco at ‘The Grand Heritage.’

On January 1, an elaborate bunch spread will start the year off while The Dolder Grand Spa promises satisfying relaxation with their award-winning treatment.

The Dolder Grand promises the best of Swiss festivities, from skiing and hiking in the Alps to Forest Bathing. The city’s stunning Christmas markets are a must visit and the atmosphere allows for indulging in local cuisine or even visiting family.
