The Dusit Doha Hotel team celebrated the holy month of Ramadan showing their appreciation to the hardworking talabat riders and Careem Captains in Doha, holding its first charity initiative ‘Iftar Meals on Wheels.’

In keeping with the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dusit Doha Hotel partnered up with online food delivery platform, talabat, and the regional Super App, Careem, to bring out ‘Iftar Meals on Wheels’ charity initiative.

The event, which was held on April 7, saw fifty talabat riders and fifty Careem Captains receive their Iftar packs to break their fast as they drive through the hotel as the Iftar hour approached.

Speaking about the hotel’s first charity event, Mr. Raghu Menon, Cluster General Manager of Dusit Doha Hotel, said: “We are honoured to have this opportunity to give back to the community this Ramadan. The ‘Iftar Meals on Wheels’ initiative embodies the spirit of the Holy Month and it is a great pleasure to be joining hands with talabat and Careem to bring this initiative to life. This is our simple way of expressing our gratitude and appreciation to the hardworking talabat riders and Careem Captains, who have been so dedicatedly and relentlessly providing their services to the community, rain or shine, despite all challenges.”
