Interactive games, live performances and plenty of colour await at ColorVerse Experience, Katara’s latest family attraction running throughout the summer
If the school holidays are starting to feel a little long, here’s another indoor activity to add to your August plans. Running at Katara Cultural Village until September 15, ColorVerse Experience invites families to step inside an interactive world where they become part of the story rather than simply watching it unfold.
The walkthrough attraction transports visitors to Colorama, a once vibrant world that has mysteriously lost all its colour. Guided by a friendly character named HUE, families take on the role of Restorers, working together to reactivate the world’s red, green and blue colour systems while overcoming mischievous creatures known as the Munchers, which have drained the land of its colour.
The adventure unfolds across seven themed zones, each introducing new challenges and interactive elements as the story progresses. Expect a mix of digital games, projection mapping, immersive lighting, sound effects and motion technology, creating a multi-sensory experience that encourages visitors to explore, solve problems and interact with their surroundings.
Beyond the central quest, the experience also features live stage performances and opportunities to meet some of the story’s characters, making it more than just an immersive exhibition. The combination of storytelling, technology and hands-on gameplay is designed to appeal to children while giving the whole family plenty to discover together. ColorVerse Experience is running at Katara Cultural Village’s South Parking until September 15, with tickets available online. ✤
