Distinctively Doha in Paris

Jiwan, the signature restaurant from the National Museum of Qatar, will take over the famous Le Dalí eatery at Le Meurice, the iconic luxury hotel in Paris, for a week, from July 29 to August 4.
As the world gathers in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, Jiwan brings warm Arab hospitality to the French capital and invites visitors to experience a distinctively Doha menu.
Inspired by Middle Eastern flavours and regional culinary traditions, the blend of Jiwan’s vibrant cuisine with the elegant ambience of Le Dalí merges two distinct cultures and styles.
This unique collaboration embodies the spirit of multiculturalism central to Jiwan’s ethos, blending local traditions with a global perspective.
Just as Jiwan is distinctively Doha, Le Meurice is quintessentially Paris. The hotel’s prestigious address is just a stone’s throw away from Musée du Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, and Musées des Arts Décoratifs – but this is not its only connection to the art world.

The hotel has long been a favourite with the great artists of our time. Pablo Picasso had his wedding banquet there, while the view from the hotel rooftop echoes the famous 1876 work by Claude Monet, View of the Tuileries Gardens, Paris.
The hotel’s collection of prized artworks includes a ceiling canvas painted by artist Ara Starck while the playful influence of surrealist Salvador Dalí – who famously visited for a month every year – is visible in touches throughout the hotel.
So, what better place to host Jiwan, then, than Le Dalí?
