Sealine Season puts the spotlight on the desert this January, with high-energy events, live performances and nights designed to be spent outdoors.

January is when Qatar’s desert really comes alive. Cooler evenings, clear skies and that perfect balance between sun and breeze make it the ideal moment to trade the city for wide open dunes. This year, Sealine Season leans fully into that mood, transforming the edge of the desert into a hub of open-air events with the sea never too far from sight.

At the high-energy end of the spectrum, Monster Jam rolls into the Mawater Sealine Circuit Sports Club on January 9 and 10. Expect oversized trucks, roaring engines and full-throttle action as the world-famous machines battle it out in races, freestyle stunts and skills challenges.

As the sun sets, Sealine Nights takes over with a series of desert concerts designed for cooler evenings and open skies. On January 16, Moudi Al Shamrani and Sultan Khalifa bring strong regional sounds to the dunes, pairing live performances with fireworks that light up the night. A week later, on January 23, Khaled Abdulrahman delivers a warmer, more intimate atmosphere, built around signature melodies and a slower desert rhythm.

The month wraps up on January 30 with Samri Night, a themed evening celebrating traditional rhythms, live performances and a steadily building ambience that carries guests through the night, f ireworks included. Add desert safaris, dune bashing, horse rides along the beach and high-speed buggy or quad sessions, and Sealine starts to look like the most fun winter escape around. ✤
