THE COLONIAL ERA BROUGHT many firsts to Qatar, and Le Colonial restaurant is continuing that tradition as the first bona fide Breakfast Room in Doha. Le Colonial Breakfast Room offers a delicious selection of ὰ la carte breakfast options with a variety of international and local specialities and a corner for healthy items. Starting from 6am to 3pm, it’s perfect for an early boost whether guests are planning a full-day of exploring Doha or having a packed schedule of meetings ahead, or even if they are craving for a lazy morning and leisurely late breakfast.

The expansive menu at Le Colonial boasts of Arabic basket – Manakish, pita bread, zaatar croissant and Danish; International basket – Wholemeal bread, French baguette, soft roll, croissant and Danish; Arabic breakfast set – Foul medammes, shakshouka, falafel, grilled halloumi and Arabic bread basket, choice of fresh juice, coffee and tea; Eggs Benedict; Choice of Healthy Breakfast & Soup; Crêpes; Waffles; Pancakes; Saj; exquisite Msheireb breakfast; Sandwiches, sizzling variety of desserts, including gluten free and healthy bites.

In addition to starting-off the day, Le Colonial offers guests a glimpse into the past inspired by the colonial age – the restaurant is designed with postage stamps in tribute to Qatar Post, and its floor is adorned with names of the ports of Qatar. The restaurant also overlooks the traditional Souq Waqif where you can sit and enjoy the view while sensing the tempting smell of the freshly baked bread and the authentic fresh dishes. ✤
