The new MINI Cooper 5 Door with a petrol engine has been unveiled by parent company BMW.

An exceptional performer in its segment, the new MINI Cooper 5 Door offers extended space, distinctive functionality and innovative assistance systems expertly packaged in the unique Cooper design that combines tradition and modern purist styling. The new model has a larger body that offers enough space for five passengers. It also offers a choice of two efficient petrol engines that, when combined with the modern chassis and precise steering, capably deliver the hallmark MINI go-kart feeling.

The new vehicle is an original MINI with a high recognition value. Short overhangs, a small bonnet, a long wheelbase and large wheels enhance the proportions of the model to reflect its urban character and make it easy and comfortable to manoeuvre even in tight spaces. The model also features the brand’s iconic new generation MINI round headlights.

In line with previous iconic models, the MINI Cooper 5 Door features minimalist design. Behind the steering wheel, the optional, slim, combined head-up display ensures all relevant content appears in the driver’s field of vision and the centre console and rocker switches have been updated to put multiple functions at the driver’s fingertips.

The three-cylinder petrol engine generates 156hp while the MINI Cooper 5 Door S is powered by a four-cylinder petrol engine with 204hp. Hallmark MINI steering and powerful brakes ensure a high level of fun while driving, along with safety and comfort. ✤
