In the spirit of giving, donate pre-loved bedding, towels, and blankets to Al-Futtaim IKEA and Qatar Charity’s ‘Home Textile Donation’ campaign

Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan, Al-Futtaim IKEA, the region’s leading Swedish home furnishing brand, has partnered with Qatar Charity to run a textile ‘TAKE-BACK’ campaign.

 Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, Al-Futtaim IKEA encourages customers to help donate pre-loved bedding, towels, and blankets in the store. The items collected will be sent to Qatar Charity, one of the largest humanitarian and development organizations in the region, and will be donated to people in need.

In line with IKEA’s ongoing vision to sustain and preserve the environment by maximizing the usage of textiles, the ‘Home Textile Donation’ campaign aims to inspire IKEA customers and the community to live a more sustainable lifestyle by contributing pre-loved textiles to Qatar Charity.

Through Al-Futtaim IKEA’s partnership efforts, the brand aims to lead the change towards a sustainable and circular retail industry in the region. This approach aims to reduce waste in the textiles industry, finding new ways to preserve the earth’s precious resources, and promote more sustainable practices.
