In a glorious setting inspired by 1930s China with captivating views of the city, the Mid-Autumn Festival set menu, priced at QR248 per person, is a gourmet’s delight.
The appetisers will get you off to a strong start. You’ll have a choice between plum marinated heirloom tomatoes, sweet and sour honey sauce or diver scallops, charred green chili & garlic. Or you could try the Nanjing Salted Duck breast with the Spinach Sphere, pine nuts, corn & rice paper providing another delicious option.
Meanwhile, the Dim Sum – Full Moon tiger prawn dumplings, Black Angus & black truffle dumplings and Forest mushrooms Bao – will definitely blow you away.
And, when you tuck into the main course – featuring king prawns with golden mango dressing; ‘Shanghai-style’ triple cooked beef short rib ginger & garlic; stir-fried seasonal broccolini and soft-centred eggs, Udon noodles with oyster & soy sauce – you will be transported into another realm altogether.
