The launch of an official F1 Fan Zone at Msheireb Downtown Doha’s iconic Barahat Msheireb for the Formula One Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024 has been announced by Visit Qatar, in partnership with Msheireb Properties, Lusail Circuit and Formula One.

The fan zone will operate during the race weekend, from November 29 to December 1, offering visitors a vibrant venue in the heart of Qatar’s capital where they can experience the excitement of Formula One racing.

The three-day activation will feature live screenings of all racing sessions, including practice runs, qualifying rounds, the sprint race and Sunday’s main event.

Designed as a family-friendly destination, the fan zone will complement the on-track action at Lusail International Circuit with interactive activities and entertainment.

Visitors to the fan zone will experience the thrill of Formula One through state-of-the-art racing simulators and an engaging RC car track. The venue will showcase an impressive display of classic and modern racing cars, while a dedicated entertainment area will feature live DJ performances throughout the evening.

The fan zone’s design incorporates both lounge and picnic-style seating areas, creating a comfortable environment for families and friends to enjoy the races together.

Entry to the fan zone will be free for all visitors. The venue will operate during the following race times:

• Friday, November 29: Practice Sessions (2.30pm – 7.30pm)
• Saturday, November 30: Qualifying and Sprint Race (6pm – 10pm)
• Sunday, December 1: Main Race (from 8pm)
