The St. Regis Doha, in collaboration with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO), will present The Midnight Supper on January 16 in a celebration of the St. Regis legacy and Doha’s delightful social scene.

The St. Regis Doha is poised to transport Doha’s elite to the pinnacle of social grace with the debut of The Midnight Supper, a captivating evening inspired by the legendary gatherings hosted by Caroline Astor, mother of the hotel’s founder, John Jacob Astor IV, during the Gilded Age – an era of unprecedented wealth and social transformation in America.

The opulently adorned Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a stage worthy of world-class performances, setting the scene for an unforgettable evening. Esteemed guests will convene in this elegant setting, where a culinary symphony awaits.

Orchestrated by the award-winning chefs from Hakkasan, Scalini, Novikov, and Fauchon, the menu will feature exquisite dishes, including king crab with caviar, black cod with truffle, and Wagyu short rib, inviting guests on a gastronomic journey that will tantalise the senses.

A Captivating Performance

The evening will be further elevated by a captivating performance by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, led by the esteemed conductor Elias Grandy.

Featuring the mesmerising voices of soprano Julia Koci and tenor Lucian Kraznec, the orchestra, comprised of 70 accomplished musicians, will present an evening of operatic and orchestral brilliance, showcasing timeless masterpieces from classical composers such as Johan Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Bizet, Verdi, and Rossini. The repertoire for this exclusive evening has been carefully curated by Kurt Meister, the QPO Executive Director.
